It has been a week since the Øya festival. During the final Øya act the sound was shitty and it was extremely wet, but we really enjoyed the performance by Røyksopp, Robin, Karin Dreijer-Andersson and Anneli Drecker. Next years Øya tickets are out for sale in December 09.

Øya 08: No-one ever really dies
N.E.R.D is not my favorite band. But, I must admit, I have never seen an Øya crowd jump that much up and down at a consert ever. Even if Pharrel and his guys were using their standard love and sex gimmicks, it was a fun party to attend.

The National rules
Hurray, the Øya festival is on. The highlight so far was the National that played on the Enga stage yesterday. Other great bands I will catch during Øya:
